About Spark Care

Experts in Care Technology, Fall Detection & Safer Living

At Spark Care, we’re transforming how care is delivered through smart, people-first technology. We help care providers across the UK reduce falls, improve resident outcomes, and future-proof their services — without adding complexity or compromising dignity.

From advanced fall detection and privacy-first room monitoring to fully integrated nurse call systems and smart lighting, our solutions are designed to work with your team, not around them.

We're proud to work with care homes, retirement living schemes, home care providers, and forward-thinking commissioners to deliver safer, smarter, and more connected environments for later life.

Why We Exist

Tech That Puts People First

Spark Care was born from lived experience. Our founder, Nadia Morris, spent years in care home operations — grappling with the day-to-day pressures providers face, from safeguarding risks to rising costs. She knew technology could help, but most of what was on offer just didn’t fit the realities of care.

So, we set out to do things differently.

At Spark Care, we lead with empathy. We listen before we recommend. And we only ever work with technology that delivers real outcomes — from reducing falls and night-time checks, to boosting staff confidence and meeting CQC expectations.

Whether you're running a large care group or a small home, we’re here to make care technology feel achievable, affordable, and human.

Our Mission

To transform later life care through intelligent, human-centred technology — helping care providers deliver safer, more personalised, and more dignified support without adding friction.

We exist to bridge the gap between compassionate care and clever tech, making sure innovation works in the real world and always serves the people at its heart.

Innovation Isn’t Enough: We Need Brave Leadership to Transform Care

Our Values

The Spark Care Difference

People First, Always

We focus on solving real challenges in real care environments. No gimmicks, no unnecessary complexity — just smart, thoughtful solutions that make a genuine difference to safety, outcomes, and peace of mind.

People before products

Behind every decision we make is a person — a resident, a family member, a carer. We never lose sight of the human experience, and we design and deliver with empathy at every step.

Trusted Partners in Care

We believe technology should make life easier, not harder. Our solutions are designed to work with existing systems, not around them — removing complexity, not creating more of it.

Smart doesn’t mean complicated

We don’t just drop in hardware and leave. We build lasting relationships with care providers, supporting them with insight, honesty, and hands-on help from day one.

Championing a Better Future for Care

We stand for progress — not just in tech, but in values. We believe in care that is proactive, not reactive. Transparent, not transactional. And always centred on dignity, safety, and trust.

With over 20 years’ experience across UK care homes and technology, Nadia leads Spark Care with a rare blend of operational insight and innovation. She’s walked in the shoes of care home managers — she knows the strain, the standards, the sleepless nights.

Nadia founded Spark Care to bridge the gap between compassionate care and clever tech. From advocating for fall detection innovation to leading large-scale digital transformation in care environments, she’s driven by a simple mission: to make care safer, smarter, and more human.

🗨️ “Tech should support carers, not replace them. It’s about helping real people make better decisions, faster.”

Mal brings a strong track record in delivering digital care solutions across the social care sector. With a practical, down-to-earth approach, he helps care providers choose the right technology for their setting — whether it’s fall detection, smart nursecall integration, or new-build planning.

He’s known for his straight-talking style, deep product knowledge, and ability to make even the most complex solutions feel simple.

🗨️ “I don’t believe in hard sales — I believe in honest conversations. If we can make life safer and easier for your team and your residents, we’re doing our job.”

Harvey is one of the UK’s most respected digital leaders, recognised in the 2025 CIO100 for his impact in care technology transformation.

As Director of Digital, Data & Technology at HC-One, the UK’s largest Care Home Operator, he supported the technology provision for the 20,000 strong workforce whilst leading the complete technology transformation across their 285 homes:  Infrastructure, Data analytics, Digital Care Planning and Incident management and AI-powered monitoring & fall detection. His experience spans Government, Public Health and International Sales. Harvey understands the needs of care providers, regulators and boards — and excels at translating strategic vision into practical, human-centred solutions that improve outcomes for both care staff and residents.

“Care is deeply personal and technology should enhance, not complicate its delivery”

Robyn leads Brand & Communications at Spark Care, shaping how the organisation shows up, speaks, and connects with care providers, partners, and families. She works closely with Nadia and the wider team to ensure Spark Care’s voice is clear, consistent, and always grounded in the realities of care.

With a BSc in Psychology from the University of Bristol and hands-on experience as a care assistant in a specialist dementia care home, Robyn brings empathy, insight, and lived understanding to everything she does. From content and campaigns to events and customer touchpoints, her focus is on making complex care technology feel human, accessible, and relevant.

Robyn also plays a key role in customer engagement, helping care providers feel genuinely supported and understood, not just sold to. She is a central part of maintaining Spark Care’s tone, trust, and culture as the business continues to grow.

“Real impact starts with real understanding — and that’s always my aim.”

Harrison works alongside Mal to support care providers through the process of exploring and adopting the right technology for their homes. He plays a key role in our day-to-day outreach — helping care home managers, operators, and decision-makers understand how tools like Silver Shield can reduce falls, boost CQC confidence, and give staff greater peace of mind.

Approachable, organised, and always happy to talk through the details, Harrison is often the first point of contact for providers looking to take that first step into smarter care.

🗨️ “We’re not here to sell boxes — we’re here to support teams in making safer, more confident choices.”

Ollie leads Implementation & Deployment at Spark Care, overseeing the on-site delivery of our care technology solutions from initial surveys through to installation, commissioning, and go-live. He works closely with care providers to ensure every deployment is smooth, well planned, and tailored to the realities of each environment.

With a hands-on, practical approach, Ollie plays a key role in translating strategy into real-world outcomes. From room layouts and sensor positioning to staff handovers and early-stage support, he ensures technology is implemented in a way that feels intuitive, reliable, and supportive for care teams.

“Good implementation is about confidence and clarity. My focus is making sure teams feel supported from day one, and that the technology works quietly and reliably in the background so care can come first.”
